The Process of New Build.
1 - New Build Design
If you have lots of ideas of what you want but don’t know where to start or need help with your home design, SBR Group can help you. Please tell us what your vision for your dream home looks like, and we can put together designs and plans to match.

2 - Tender Stage
If you would like to proceed further, we will prepare all the documents you need to get the build started.
This involves a thorough examination of all building and construction elements, which may include pre-site inspections, site assessments such as soil, contour, and surveys depending on the type of build and construction.
We will also finalise the cost of your build and provide a fixed price, comprehensive quote. There is no rush to decide, and you have thirty days to review and make a decision. [Back to Index]
3 - Pre-Construction
This is getting exciting! We ensure all your CDC documentation, DA approval, and other consents with relevant authorities are in place, and your construction details are ready to start.
You will meet with your SBR Interior Designer who will go through the details of your design for each of the elements of the build.
Your dedicated Selection Coordinator will help you (if you need) choose all the elements for your build. This will save you shopping around and pass on supplier discounts!
If this is the part that you find hard, we have several packages ready to go to make it easier. These packages narrow down your choices and help you stick to a budget.
If you already know what you want, even better, you can give us the list, and we will organise so they are ready for the building to start.
Your assigned project manager will go through with you each step of your build and the schedule, so you know exactly what and when the build will entail.
He will also get you set up and run through our project management software – an app on your phone which contains every detail you need to know during construction. [Back to Index]
4 - Construction begins!
This is where the fun starts and we promise to make it smooth and easy. Our project managers check quality control and log the site work for each day so you can watch the progress on your phone app.

5 - Handover
The keys to your new home are yours! The build and construction are complete, and we collect all the certificates for compliance from suppliers and installers. Ensure all occupational certificates, and sign-offs with regulatory bodies are complete, and documentation reflects this. Your warranty for the construction is also included.
You are ready to decorate, move in and enjoy your brand-new home.
